Established in 1996 and headquartered in New Delhi, India, the company has over two decades of experience in providing professional and organized services in domestic and international debt collection, business information services, first party collection of accounts receivables, business advisory services, and legal & paralegal services. Catering to a diverse clientele including small to large enterprises across various sectors, MNS has a dynamic workforce of >150 employees, driving its vision of delivering comprehensive credit management solutions globally.
We’re hiring a seasoned Head of Human Resources (People & Admin) to build and lead our People function as we scale MNS and our group companies from ~200 to 500+ employees over the next few years. This is a senior, hands-on builder role for someone with 15–20 years’ experience who can lead the People & Admin org, and act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the People Engine: Design and lead the end-to-end People & Admin strategy for MNS Group – org structure, headcount planning, policies, and culture – aligned to business goals.
- Build the HR Org: Create and manage a scalable HR team across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, L&D/Engagement, and Administration/Facilities; define clear roles, processes, and KPIs.
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand: Work with business leaders to forecast manpower needs; set up a robust hiring process (JD hygiene, interview loops, scorecards, SLAs), improve offer-to-join conversions, and strengthen our employer brand in banking/fintech/collections/risk ecosystems.
- People Operations & Compliance: Own HR operations across the employee lifecycle – onboarding, contracts, HRIS, attendance/leave, payroll inputs, exits – while ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws, PoSH, and audit requirements.
- Performance & Rewards: Design and implement a structured performance management framework (goal setting, reviews, feedback, PIPs) and collaborate with leadership to build fair salary bands, increment cycles, incentives and promotion criteria.
- Admin & Facilities Management: Oversee office administration, facilities, housekeeping, security, vendor management, travel and event logistics to ensure a professional, efficient and compliant workplace across locations.
- Change & Scale: Lead change management for new policies, systems and tools (HRIS, ATS, performance platforms); bring structure without killing speed in a founder-led, fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
- 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5–7 years in a Head of HR / Head of People / Senior HRBP / People Ops Lead capacity, preferably in mid-sized or scaling organizations (200–500 employees).
- Strong exposure to Indian HR practices and labour laws, with hands-on experience in HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations.
- Demonstrated track record of building or transforming an HR function (not just maintaining one) – implementing policies, performance frameworks, HR systems, and scalable processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills; high maturity in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
